Value for Money
This is sold with battery and charger, so as we mentioned earlier, so this is excellent value for money. With a lot of the other trimmers you have to buy a battery and charger seperately, so this is quite an advantage.
This complete trimmer package is on average £130. Also, going forward, if you like to own and use high quality tools like Bosch, then a whole range of cordless tools can be used with the same battery and charger.
At this price then, you have to think this is very reasonable.
Battery Life
You can use the Bosch 5Ah batteries and it has excellent life. It will last for around an 2.5 hours without needing a charge.
This of course will depend on the thickness of the hedge, but as a general guideline, you will get at least 2 hours of trimming with this battery. It will then take an hour to get it back to fully charged
Ease of Use
This hedge cutter is extremely light and provides cordless mobility with maximum power. The 550 mm blade length, 20 mm tooth opening and the electronic “Anti-Blocking System” ensures you’ve got the right garden tool to get the job done
We found that this hedge trimmer will easily cut until you get up to branches around 2cm in diameter. After that you will need to use a saw or lopper. The Spear and Jackson Telescopic Lopper is particularly good for that type of heavier branch work.

It's very hard to look past this Bosch cordless hedge trimmer for value alone. Most buyers got this to replace an old petrol model and they were amazed at how well it worked. The battery is brilliant, it is a two handed operation that cuts on both sides and will go through branches up to 2cm.
I'm not sure what else you would be looking for in a hedge cutter. This is a great model and it's a very reasable price. It's extra good that you don't need to buy a battery and charger.
I can't recommend this model highly enough and if you are looking for a model that's very light and easy to use then this would be top of your list.
