Main Review
We have completed a full review just below, and we have concentrated on the key features that you should consider before buying this model.
Value for Money
This is going to be an expensive initial purchase and is around the same price as a top of the range petrol lawnmower or an entry level ride on model. All these robotic mowers are expensive and this model is no different.
That being said, this McCullough model is actually on the lower side of the price range and offers really good value for money. I have reviewed several other models that are twice the price and don't offer any real advantages so this is a pretty good value buy.
Ease of Use
This mower will cut your grass while you are sleeping, so ease of use is why you buy one! BUT you need to be prepared to set this robot up properly at the start. Some people don't have the patience for this but I can tell you that it is extremely easy. Depending on the complexity of your garden, it should take you a couple of hours to set this machine up. Some areas will need pegged out and you shouldn't bury these as it's likely you will need to make some changes.
Over the course of a weekend you will have to keep a watch and tweek it a few times but that will be you done, it's plain sailing from then on in. I found it was quite interesting to do the set up and most people actually enjoy that part of it.
Our Verdict on the Mcculloch ROB 1000 Robotic Lawn Mower
92% online buyer satisfaction based on 100+ online buyer reviews
We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this robotic lawn mower. It works really well and you certainly won't be disappointed.
It does take some time when doing the initial setup, and honestly, it is worth taking the time to do this properly. It is the same principle with all robotic lawnmowers.
If you do it right at the start, then you can enjoy many hours of this little device doing all the hard work.
This one has a solid reputation in the UK market.
