 March 4, 2021

By  Enda

Thanks for taking the time to read our UK review of the WORX WR153E L1500 Landroid Robotic Mower.

This robotic lawnmower gets very good buyer reviews and users seem to either love it or hate it. That just tells me that it's not suitable for everybody, though as almost three quarters of users give it 10 out of 10, we know it is a good quality product that works well.

This particular mower, with the model number WR153E L1500, is made for medium to large sized gardens, can cover areas of around 1500 square meters and will work on gradients up to 20 degrees.

That means that this mower is suitable for the majority of gardens and it will certainly make your life a lot easier. It will charge itself, cut your grass, mulch it and be back on charge without you lifting a finger.

Our Research

When you read the number of reviews that we have, you can pick out some really useful information. We have shared our findings just below:

Grass Cutting Capability

As we have already said, this mower will cut up to 1500m2 of grass with lengths from 20mm right up to 60mm. It also comes with a cut to edge facility which gets as close as possible to the border of your lawn. Some of the cheaper models don't do this so it's important to know if you need this option or now. For instance, if your lawn is bordered by paving then you won't need it.

Set Up

We found that the most important thing about this robotic lawnmower is getting the initial set-up right. You will need to take your time and it will need a few adjustments to get it perfect. A few users found this difficult but it's really quite straightforward.

There are a lot of options available, especially setting up some of the boundaries, but I found the set-up really interesting and the extra options are great.

Value for Money

This is not a cheap buy, and many would consider this to be too expensive. I am not one of these people. According to the robot, I have 947m2 of garden which it cuts very quietly, without me having to do anything and the lawn looks perfect at all times.

We think it actually improves the quality of the lawn because of the regular cutting and mathematically alone, if it lasts 5 years then it will cost me around £4 a week to have my lawn perfect, with no effort.

Our Verdict on the WORX WR153E L1500 Landroid Robotic Mower

We do like the Worx brand, and this mower, like all their tools, is well made. if you want to own a good quality robotic mower, that saves you time and effort then there is not much better than this model.

Overall buyers rate this mower very well, though you should be aware that it is not a cheap option.

It has an RRP of £1250 so if you can find it cheaper than that, then at least you know you are getting yourself a deal.

I am someone who enjoys a little gardening. Now I am not someone who spend hours in the garden, but I do like both my front and back gardens to look really nice. Well kept lawns, neatly trimmed hedges, and borders filled with plants, make a huge difference, to how your property looks.
